Who We Are

Duha Therapy was created as a space of light, renewal, and hope. I wanted to build a practice where people feel truly seen — in their culture, their faith, and their lived experiences.

About Me

 Meet Faizah Latif, MSW, RSW

I’m a Registered Social Worker licensed in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and Alberta. I work with individuals and families navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, self-esteem, identity, and family dynamics. My approach blends clinical training with cultural and faith-based insight—so that you feel truly recognized and supported every step of the way.

My path to this work is personal. As a Muslim woman growing up in the West, I wrestled with questions of identity, belonging, and cultural expectations. Later, I faced difficult relationships that tested my sense of self. Through those experiences, I discovered resilience, the importance of boundaries, and the strength that comes from faith. These lessons now guide my practice—I know what it means to rebuild, and I walk alongside my clients as they do the same.

Recognition: In 2025, I was shortlisted for a National Mental Health Advocacy Award in the Peer Support Excellence category.
