Who We Are

Duha Therapy was created as a space of light, renewal, and hope. I wanted to build a practice where people feel truly seen - in their culture, their faith, and their lived experiences.

About Me

Meet Faizah Latif, MSW, RSW

I’m a Registered Social Worker (RSW) licensed in Ontario and Quebec, and I help individuals navigate anxiety, ADHD, depression, self-esteem, identity, and family dynamics. I currently also work as a Counsellor at the University of Waterloo, where I support post-secondary students with mental health and identity-related challenges. My approach blends clinical training with cultural and faith-based insight so that you feel truly recognized and supported every step of the way.

My path to this work is personal. As a Muslim woman growing up in the West, I wrestled with questions of identity, belonging, and cultural expectations. Later, I faced difficult relationships that tested my sense of self. Through those experiences, I discovered resilience, the importance of boundaries, and the strength that comes from faith. These lessons now guide my practice; I know what it means to rebuild, and I walk alongside my clients as they do the same.

More About Me

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with friends & family, and with my one-year-old cat, Nemo. I try to travel as much as I can. My favourite colour is teal. I also enjoy engaging in activities such as swimming, bike riding, and reading.

On a personal and professional level, it makes me content to see others rising to their full potential. In this way, I am fully passionate about the work that I do.

You might also find me enjoying a cup of coffee while rewatching The Office or Grey's Anatomy. These parts of me keep me grounded and remind me of the joy in everyday life!

Ready to Begin?

If you are ready to begin your journey toward clarity and renewal, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
